Terms of Service

By using Rate & Date ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rate & Date. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We enforce age verification server-side and may terminate accounts that do not comply.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must provide accurate information during registration.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
You may not transfer or sell your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Post or send content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory
Upload photos of anyone other than yourself, or photos containing nudity or explicit sexual content
Impersonate any person or entity
Use the App to solicit money, promote businesses, or distribute spam
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the App's systems
Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and moderate that content within the App. We use automated tools and human review to moderate content and may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Premium Subscriptions & Purchases

Rate & Date offers optional paid features via in-app purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Purchases are processed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective refund policies. We do not offer refunds directly.

6. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users. Meeting people from the App is at your own risk — please exercise caution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rate & Date shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
